Determination of explosion characteristics of dust clouds by numerical modeling in Fluent
Wheat flour and coal dust were dispersed in a 20 dm(3) chamber and studied for deflagration combustion. Computational fluid dynamics (code FLUENT) was used for numerical modeling. A satisfactory agreement of numerical simulation of max. pressure and max. rate of pressure rise with exptl. data was achieved.
