Type of ceramic cell used for construction, chem. compn. of composite C solid fuel and surface compn. of the anode material were taken into consideration. The surface modification of Ni/YSZ cermet anode with Fe or addn. of Fe to the solid fuel improved considerably the operating parameters of the cell.
