Kinetic-Behavior of an Amperometric Biosensor Made of an Enzymatic Carbon-Paste and a Nafion(R) Gel Investigated by Rotating Electrode Studies
An amperometric glucose sensor (beta-D-glucose) incorporating the biocatalytic properties of an enzyme, glucose oxidase (GOD), and the membrane properties of a hydrophobic Nafion(R) gel was constructed. The kinetic features of the current provided by the sensor were investigated by rotating electrode steady state experiments.
