Establishment of an EEC Mechanism for the Zn2+ /Zn(Hg) Electrode-Reaction - A Dropping Zinc Amalgam Microelectrode Study
From the voltammogram of a dropping zinc amalgam microelectrode extending for over 1 V, the kinetic parameters found earlier with impedance voltammetry were confirmed. However, with the microelectrode technique the kinetic parameters of the second electron transfer could be obtained with much better accuracy. From the data at the more positive potentials the existence of one more step was discovered, the rate of which depends only weakly on potential.
