High-Throughput Multiplexing Gas Chromatography
The utilization of information technology in gas chromatography is demonstrated. Multiplexing gas chromatography enhances the overall duty cycle, signal-to-noise ratio and enables achieving extraordinarily high sample throughputs. Parameters such as sequence length, modulation interval and number of repetitive injections in the high-throughput mode determine overall performance of such systems. The portrayed technique opens new perspectives in process analytics by allowing continuous monitoring of chemical processes while analyzing the complete spectrum of analytes.
