Mussel-inspired linking of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles on a single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) was successfully attempted to provide a novel photocatalyst that shows enhanced and recyclable photocatalytic degradation of environmental pollutants such as Methylene Blue with ultraviolet and even with visible light irradiation.
