Dense Core-Mesoporous Outer Layer Scattering Beads for Dye-sensitized Solar Cells
A new scattering particle structure, dense core-mesoporous outer layer beads, was designed and synthesized by a one-pot hydrothermal method. Though the particle size was much larger than that of the conventionally used scattering particles, the photovoltaic performance was superior to that of 500-nm ruffle particles owing to the large surface area and effective scattering effect.
