Porous-Electrodes in the Presence of a Concentration Gradient
Solutions for the flooded porous electrodes in the presence of a concentration gradient are presented. They are valid for quasi-reversible reactions in the conditions of finite pore length. Potential and concentration profiles can be calculated using the developed method. In addition, a.c. impedance behavior of these electrodes is presented. Transitions from concentration gradient to potential gradient limitations are discussed. The method is applied to the hydrogen evolution on porous electrodes.
