Stationary fuel cell systems have been under development for several decades and have been demonstrated for a number of years across Asia, Europe and North America. Commercialisation of these systems is now accelerating with small and large scale systems being installed worldwide. Successful commercialisation requires a dual approach to identifying both early adopters in specific market segments whilst also seeking to reduce costs on a year on year basis.
