Development of an Online Glucoamylase Monitoring-System
A glucoamylase monitoring system was developed and applied to a fermentation process. The system consisted of a ceramic filter, a sampling system, an automatic mixing system and a spectrophotometer. With the system it was possible to continuously monitor glucoamylase activity during 115 h of fermentation. The coefficient of correlation between the values obtained with this system and manual analysis was 0.960.
