Pressure drop in packed columns used for CO2 absorption in aqueous solution of monoethanoloamine
Pressure drop in a lab. column packed with dry and wet metal springs, Raschig rings, Super Raschig Rings and polypropylene rosettes was detd. in countercurrent flow of CO2-contg. air (12% by vol.) and aq. soln. of NH2CH2CH2OH to validate some, pressure drop computational methods. The highest compatibility of calcd. and exptl. data for wet pressure drop was found when the method given by A. Mers-mann et al., 2011, was used for polypropylene rosettes.
