Emission of gaseous pollutants from the fluidized bed during combustion of coal shale
Coal shale was added to the hot PrH-BuH stream com-busted in a bubbling fluidized bed at 800-950 degrees C to det. the temp. and granulation relationships of the hydrocarbon, CH2O, NOx, CO and SO2 contents in the off-gas. The pollutant emission factors were similar to those for bituminous coals. Emission factors for CO, NO, SO2 and CH4, were 2.6 mg/g, 3.1 mg/g, 8.0 mg/g and 0.03 mg/g, resp.
