Pre- and post-combustion carbon capture. Cleaning and upgrading gas from underground coal gasification
A multi-variant anal. of processing gas from underground bituminous coal or lignite gasification with air, O-2 or steam under CO2 capture by chem. or phys. absorption was performed. The compn. of the raw gas depended on the type of gasified coal and gasifying agent. The phys. absorption was less efficient than the chem. one.
