Production and characterization of thermal insulation materials based on polyurethane and aerogels

Eight corn. aerogels were used as fillers for polyurethane foams tested for their compression and tensile strength. The addn. of selected aerogel filler resulted in enhancing of the thermal insulating properties of the foam.
