Fabrication of CoWO4@NiWO4 nanocomposites with good supercapacitve performances
CoWO4, NiWO4 and CoWO4@NiWO4 nanocomposites were prepared by a facile chemical co-precipitation method and their supercapacitive performances were compared. The particle-like CoWO4 has good stability and the flake-like NiWO4 exhibits a high capacity. The CoWO4@NiWO4 nanocomposite inherited structural characteristics from both CoWO4 and NiWO4, with the CoWO4 particles growing on the surface of the NiWO4 flakes. In addition, the CoWO4@NiWO4 nanocomposite combines the high capacity of NiWO4 and the excellent stability of CoWO4 and shows the Faradaic redox properties with a higher capacity and a better stability than pure metal-WO4 materials.
