Isobaric (vapor-liquid) equilibria for binary systems of methanol+1-(methoxymethoxy)-propane and 1-propanol+1-(methoxymethoxy)-propane at 101.33 kPa
Isobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data have been measured for methanol + 1-(methoxymethoxy)-propane and 1-propanol + 1-(methoxymethoxy)-propane systems at 101.33 kPa. The two binary systems present two minimum temperature azeotropes at 101.33 kPa. Saturated vapor pressure data for the pure component of 1-(methoxymethoxy)-propane used in the VLE calculations was measured. The VLE measurements for two binary systems above were correlated by van Laar, Wilson, and Non-Random Two Liquids (NRTL) models. The corresponding binary interaction parameters for three models were also obtained. By comparing the experimental value with the calculation value, the results showed that the measured data of two binary systems above were well correlated by the Wilson and NRTL models, respectively.
