The characteristics of the zeolite Na-A crystallization by adding the Poly ethyleneglycol(PEG) having various molecular weights were researched and compared with the characteristics of standard crystallization without having additives. Whether the zeolite NaA was synthesized or not, this was determined by X-ray diffraction, and the size and distribution of the particles was determined by Light-Scattering Spectroscopy and SEM(Scanning Electron Microscope). The addition of Polyethyleneglycol shows the increasing of crystallization times and the decreasing of crystal sizes.
