Hesperidin was sepd. from orange pellets by extn. with petroleum ether and MeOH and by cryst. from 6% acetic acid and then used for dissoln. of kidney stones-contained Ca oxalate under circulation of the aq. soln., for retardation of Ca oxalate formation and for studying its antioxidant properties. Hesperidin showed a high Ca oxalate dissoln. capacity.
