Two corn. ion exchange resins with bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine groups were studied for structure and roughness before and after sorption of Cu(II) ions by a static method. Optical microscopy was used to det. the physicochemical properties of the resins. Linear maps of the elemental compn. on the cross section of the resin beads after Cu(II) sorption. Some small differences between the studied resins were evidenced.
