Kinetics of reduction of oxygen carriers containing iron and titanium oxides from pigments
Fe2O2/TiO2 oxygen carriers were prepd. by sintering pure chemicals or Fe2O3 and TiO2 from pigments and studied for redn. kinetics at 850-950 degrees C. The shrinking core model showed the best agreement with exptl. data. The carriers made of pigments showed higher activation energy than that made of pure chemicals.
