An acrylic coating used for concrete protection was aged by a std. method in a weathering chamber under UV irradn., elevated temp. and rain. Tensile strength and adhesion to concrete substrate were detd. SEM and FUR anal. were also performed. Decompn. of the coating structure took place during the aging but the adhesion of the coating to substrate increased.
