Sida hermaphrodita (L.) Rusby biomass pellets were combusted in a low-power boiler to study the distribution of heavy metals (As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Zn) in bottom ash and exhaust gas. During combustion, the heavy metals introduced with the fuel were mainly emitted into the atm. except for Cu deposited mostly (70%) in the bottom ash.
