Acrylamide and Lactic Acid-based Sol-Gel Process for the Preparation of Silver and Nickel Nanoparticles under a N-2 Protecting Atmosphere
This letter reports the preparation of silver and nickel nanoparticles via a sol-gel process using acrylamide and lactic acid as the coordination agents. Silver nanoparticles with face-centered-cubic crystalline phase and grain size in the nanometer range can be obtained at 773 K. These results provide a new research route for the preparation of metallic nanoparticles.
