Effect of filler type and irradiation dose on some properties of polyolefine foams
Ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer was compounded with ZnO, chalk or a com. nanofiller, azodicarbonamide and an antioxidant, formed as plates and crosslinked under electron irradn. with varying irradn. dose (40-100 kGy). The gel fractions of the blends increased whereas the elongation decreased with increasing the irradn. doses in whole range. The filler type showed also a considerable effect on selected properties of the foams.
