DSI method in study of elements made by fused deposition modelling (FDM)
Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer samples were pigmented and studied by depth indentation method to det. an influence of the pigment type on sample micro hardness in longitudinal and transverse directions of the material layers at const. velocity, hold time and max. loading force. The load-indentation depth curves were detd. during inelastic load and elastic unload cycles. The addn. of Mg, Ti, S and Ca-contg. pigments resulted in increasing the surface microhardness, while the addn. of Ce, Fe, Na and N-contg. pigments showed a negative effect.
