Impact of copper industry on the accumulation and mobility of copper in soils
Profile of Cu content anal. was performed in samples of agricultural soil from 13 measured areas located in Legnica Glogow Copper District. The ay. Cu content in the tested samples was more than 5 times higher than in uncontaminated soils. In the top layer of the soil, over 40% of total Cu occurred in fraction connected with Fe and Mn oxides and more than 30% in fractions connected with org. matter.
