ZnSe Nanowires and Partially Hollow Nanotubes Synthesized by Femtosecond Laser Ablation in Liquid
Hexagonal ZnSe nanowires were synthesized by the self assembly of nanoparticles prepared by femtosecond laser ablation in deionized water. With introduction of air, partially hollow ZnSe nanotubes were also obtained. The nature of the ZnSe nanowires was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive Xray spectrometry mapping (EDS-Mapping), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Possible self-assembly and hydrolyks mechanisms for the formation of nanowires and partially hollow nanotubes were discussed.
