Removal of NO2 by adsorbents made of a residue from supercritical extraction of camomile
Four C adsorbents (spec. surface 9-104 m(2)/g, grain size 0.10-0.65 mm) were prepd. by carbonization and phys. activation with CO2 (700 or 800 degrees C) of a residue from supercrit. extn. of camomile and used for NO2 removal at room temp. The removal degree increased with increasing carbonization and activation temps. as well as after introduction of steam to the gaseous streams.
