Redox-active Supramolecular Fibers of a Nitronyl Nitroxide-based Gelator
Redox-active supramolecular fibers of a nitronyl nitroxide radical molecule have been developed. The organic radical gelator forms self-assembled fibers in organic solvents via intermolecular hydrogen bonds to yield physical gels. The redox properties of the fibrous aggregates of the organic radical have been confirmed by cyclic voltammetry.
