다성분계 고분자 블렌드의 내충격성 향상에 관한 연구
Improvement of Impact Properties of Multicomponent Polymer Blends

다성분계 블렌드의 내충격성 증진에 대해 연구하였다. LDPE, HDPE PP, PS, PET 등을 성븐으로 포함하는 블렌드의 내충격성 향상을 위한 상용화제로 에틸렌/프로필렌 고무 (EPR)또는 스티렌/에틸렌부틸렌/스티렌 블록공중합체 (SEBS)를 단독으로 첨가하는 것보다 EPR 또는 SEBS를 동시에 첨가하여 주는 이중상용화제가 효과적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한 블렌드중 LDPE, HDPE 및 PPDML 함량이 높아질수록 이중상용화제중 EPRDML 효과가 높아지는 것으로 관찰되었으며 LDPE 및 HDPE가 동시에 블렌드에 포함되는 경우가 각각이 단독으로 들어갈 때 보다 내충격 강도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 내충격성 향상 효과는 다성분계 블렌드의 모폴로지와 관련되어 분석되었다.
Investigation was made on the improvement of the impace properties of multicomponent blends. Blends containing LDPE, HDPE, PP, PS and PET showed higher Izod impact strength when ethylene propylene rubber(덱) and styrene ethylene buthylene styrene block copolymer (SEBS) were added simultaneously as a dual compatibilizer to the blends than only either EPR or SEBS was put into the blends. As the amount of LDPE, HDPE or PP increased in the blends, EPR or SEBS was put into the blends, EPR in the dual compatibilizer became to play more important role in determining the impact properties of the blend. Higher impact strength was observed when the blend contained both LDPE and HDPE at the same time in comparison with the blends having only either one as a component. The effect of a dual compatibilizer was analyzed in terms of the morphology of multicomponent blends.
