Industrial crystallization of ammonium sulfate from its solution after flue gas desulfurization with ammonia water
An industrial process for (NH4)(2)SO4 crystn. from the soln. after NH3 water flue gas desulfurization was presented. The fertilizer produced (average grain size of 0.5 mm) meets the requirements of the European Union. The prodn. was successfully implemented in Poland (60 Gg/yr).
