Determination of anionic and nonionic surfactants in laundry wastewater
Std. methods for detn. of anionic (C12H25C6H4SO3Na) and nonionic (ethoxylated alkylphenols) surfactants in raw and -biol. treated industrial laundry wastewater in the large lab. scale hybrid moving bed biofilm reactor were used. Methylene blue (i), Et ester tetrabromophenolphthalein (ii) and Na pytylidin-1-yldithiocarboxylate (iii) were used for the anal. The anionic surfactant contents in raw wastewater were 12.5 mg/L (i) and 28.0 mg/L (ii), and in the treated wastewaters 0.1 mg/L and 1.95 mg/L resp. The contents of nonionic surfactants in raw wastewaters were 59.6 mg/L (iii) and 46.1 mg/L (ii) and in the treated wastewaters 0.13 mg/L (iii) and 1.91 mg/L(ii), resp.
