Probability-Distributions for Continuous-Time Random-Walks with Long Tails
A detailed study of the propagators, the probability densities being at location r at time t, is presented for random walks with waiting time distributions having long-time tails often encountered in problems of transport in disordered systems and in nonlinear systems. The dependence on dimensionality and the scaling properties of the propagators are investigated in the framework of the continuous-time random walk (CTRW) approach. Relationships to previous studies are discussed.
