고기능성 Silicone 실란트의 물성 및 조성의 최적화를 위한 연구
A study on the optimization of process and the physical properties of high-technology silicone sealants
For the development of manufacturing process of high-technology silicone sealants, optimization for the basic formulation and physical properties of that high-technology silicone sealants was studied and the curing mechanism was elucidated. Effecting factors to the physical properties for high-technology silicone sealants were base silicone polymer, filler, catalyst, crosslinker and additives, and their effects were investigated. Base silicone polymers were a polydimethylsiloxane with hydroxy substituents on both terminal positions with a viscosity of 1,000-100,000 cst. Fumed silica and calcium carbonate were used as a filler for the weight and tensile strength. Catalyst was used less than 10% wt. and several additives were studied for the specific purposes. As a result, the optimized manufacturing process of high-technology silicone sealants was obtained and the application for commercial uses was tested.
