Flow of magneto nanofluid by a radiative exponentially stretching surface with dissipation effect
This paper deals with boundary layer flow of nanofluid induced by exponentially stretching sheet. Analysis has been carried out in the presence of viscous dissipation and radiation effects. Fluid is electrically conducting in the presence of applied magnetic field. The model used for the nanoparticles incorporates the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis. The homotopy analysis method is employed to determine the convergent series expressions of velocity, temperature and nanoparticle fraction. The physical interpretation to these expressions is assigned through graphs. It is revealed that temperature is an increasing function of Brownian motion parameter and thermophoresis parameter. Impact of different parameters on heat and mass transfer rates are computed through graphs. It is noted that fluid velocity reduces when Hartman number is enhanced. Further mass transfer rate increases for higher Brownian motion parameter. (C) 2016 The Society of Powder Technology Japan. Published by Elsevier B.V. and The Society of Powder Technology Japan.
