Kinetic studies on steam reforming of methanol over Cu/Zn/Zr/Ce/Cr catalyst
Ce and Cr-modified CuZnZr catalyst was used for reforming of MeOH to H-2 under atm. pressure at 403-513 K, initial mole fractions of MeOH (0.05-0.29), H2O (0.04-0.28), H-2 (0.0-0.46) and CO2 (0.0-0.19) and reaction mixt. flows 0.01 and 0.006 mot/min. The MeOH conversion degree increased with increasing reaction temp. and H2O content as well as with decreasing reaction mixt. flow and CO2 and MeOH contents in the reaction mixt.
