Product Branching Ratios of the NH((3)Sigma(-))+no and NH((3)Sigma(-))+no2 Reactions
The title reactions were studied at 298 K using time-resolved infrared diode laser spectroscopy. For the NH ((3) Sigma(-)) + NO reaction, N2O + H were found to be the primary products, with a branching ratio of 0.77 +/- 0.08, in good agreement with other recent measurements. For the NH ((3) Sigma(-)) + NO2 reaction, the measured branching ratio was 0.41 +/- 0.15 into the N2O + OH channel and 0.59 +/- 0.15 into the NO + HNO channel.
