Kinetic analysis of the pyrolysis of fermentation residue
Kinetic analysis on pyrolysis of fermentation residue (FR) and phenolic resin (PR) was conducted through Coats-Redfern method. It was found that the pyrolysis of FR in the conversion range of 10-50% is a diffusion controlled process; while in higher range of 50-75%, phase boundary and self-catalysis models fit the experiments best but in minus activation energies. The pyrolysis of PR in the range of 25-75% can well be expressed by diffusion models. That means the pyrolysis of FR is much more complex than that of PR, though their organic structures are similar.
