Studies on active mixtures for a Rocksplitter-type gasifier

Na and K nitrates(V), chlorates(V) and chlorates(VII) were mixed with a gas oil (5:95 to 14:86 by mass) and studied for impact and friction sensitivity, thermal stability and ignition succeptibility. The NaClO3-gas oil mixt. met the requirements for pyrotech. agents used in quarry.
