Iridium-catalyzed Cleavage of C-O Bonds Using Alcohols as Reducing Reagents
A cationic iridium/binap catalyst-enabled reductive cleavage of C(sp(2))-O bonds of aromatic compounds having nitrogen-based directing groups was carried out in the presence of alcohols as reducing reagents.
