Use of post-production sanitary ceramic waste as a filler in cement composites of high chemical resistance
Disintegrated sanitary ceramics waste (size up to 8 mm) was used as grit in the cement mortar (1.33 Mg/m(3)) setted at 20 degrees C for 107 days. The concrete produced was studied for corrosion in H3O+, SO42-, NH4+ and/or Mg2+-contg. mediums (mass change for 107 days and for compression strength. The concrete was corrosion resistant.
