Samples of the fuels based on (i) a solid municipal waste, (ii) a mixt. of solid municipal waste with solvents, paints and tars, (iii) a mixt. of dried and granulated municipal sewage sludge with polyolefins segregated from municipal waste, were analyzed according to the relevant stds. The calorific values of fuels were (i) 22.62, (ii) 12.90, (iii) 19.56 MJ/kg, resp. The content of heavy matals, S and CI in the tested fuels was below the limit values for fuels used in the cement industry.
