Residual graphite was briquetted together with residual limestone dust (2.5%) and molasses (8%) in a lab. roll press equipped with asymmetrical layout system and screw feeder. Torques on the roll shaft and on screw shaft were detd. to gauge unitary energy demand. Drop and compressive strengths of the briquettes were also evidenced. The briquettes met the requirements for solid fuels and were recomendet for practical use.
