Liposomes have been used as carriers of nucleic acid drugs. In this study, we demonstrated the transportation of DNA into liposomes using ultrafast photocrosslinking for delivery of nucleic acid drugs. The cohesion of DNA on the surface of liposomes induced transformations in the liposomes and enabled phototriggered, sequence-specific DNA transportation into liposomes by hybridization chain reactions.
