The standard molar enthalpies of formation and heat capacities of PbMoO4 (s) and Pb2MoO5 (s)
The standard enthalpies of formation of PbMoO4 (s) and Pb2MoO5 (s), at 298.15 K were determined by solution calorimetry and are found to be (-1059.6 +/- 2.2) kJ mol(-1) and (-1274.7 +/- 2.3) kJ mol(1), respectively. The heat capacities of PbMoO4 (s) and Pb2MoO5(s) were measured using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The measured heat capacities as a function of temperature are expressed as: C-p < PbMoO4 > (JK(-1) mol(-1)) perpendicular to 4.1 = 127.31 + 30.47 * 10(-3) T - 1.79 * 10(6) T-2 (T : 313-798 K) C-p < PbMoO5 > (JK(-1) mol(-1)) +/- 6.2 = 169.20 + 66.69 * 10(-3) T - 1.99 * 10(6) T-2 (T : 308-798 K) (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd.
