Bioproduct obtained from probiotic microorganisms consortia-studies regarding the effects generated in vitro on two types of leukemic cell lines
Probiotic microorganisms consortia (PMC) were used to obtain a bioproduct which have tested in vitro, on two leukaemic cell lines: THP-1 and EHEB. The procedure employed was based on the biosynthesis, using PMC and a culture medium with dextrose and infusion of Camellia sinensis, Annona muricata and Astragallus membranaceus, obtaining the final bioproduct named PMCGA. Under PMCGA action, THP-1 cells line decrease their viability under 70%, while the EHEB cells line increase their viability up to 107%, which means that PMCGA are not favourable for last cell lines. Results indicates for PMCGA an interesting biological activity against acute monocytic leukaemia.
