Observation and rotational analysis of the (0,0) (C)over-tilde(2)Pi - (X)over-tilde(2)Sigma(+) transition in LaNH molecule and detection of (A)over-tilde '(2) Delta(r) state
The (0,0) band of the (C) over tilde (2)Pi(r) - (X) over tilde (2) Sigma(+) system of LaNH was studied by LIF spectroscopy in a free- jet apparatus. The subbands, (C) over tilde (2)Pi(3/2) - (X) over tilde (2) Sigma(+) and (C) over tilde (2)Pi(1/2) - (X) over tilde (2) Sigma(+) were rotationally analyzed. Local perturbations were observed in f-parity levels of both spin components of the (C) over tilde state which suggests presence of two (2)Sigma(+/) perturber states. Dispersed fluorescence (DF) from the (C) over tilde (2)Pi state suggests vibronic coupling in the (C) over tilde state to a nearby (2)Sigma(+) state. A low-lying (A) over tilde '(2)Delta(r) electronic state was identified in the DF spectra with the Omega = 5/ 2 and 3/ 2 components lying respectively at 8353 and 7648 cm(-1). (C) 2017 Elsevier B.V.
