Stabilization of 2-D Switched Systems With All Modes Unstable via Switching Signal Regulation
This work is concerned with stabilization for 2-D switched systems represented by both the Fornasini-Marchesini local state-space model and the Roesser model. Without any controller, by designing a set of switching signals subject to average dwell time characteristic, the 2-D switched systems with all subsystems unstable could be stabilized. The exponential stability can be ensured for these switched systems by introducing a quasi-time-dependent Lyapunov functional. The effectiveness and merits of the proposed methods are illustrated with two examples.
