Variability of mass and compressive strength of Ca fertilizer granules produced com. in Poland was studied. Mass of granules varied in the range 1-281 mg and its dispersion was highest for smallest granules (fraction 1.0-2.0 mm). The lowest and highest recorded values of compressive strength were 5 N and 200 N, resp. Coeffs. of variation of the compressive strength varied in the range 25.1-57.3%. Linear regression models were fitted for relationships of granule compressive strength on mass and mass on granule diam.
