Power consumption and axial and radial velocity distributions and velocity pulsations for propeller impellers of various shapes and cross-sections of blades were measured. The study was carried out in turbulent regime of mixing. The optimum blade cross-sections provided good homogenization of the liq. at the lowest power consumption.
